Foundation of the company in order to produce sealed units, refrigeration compressors and elements for cold equipment.
1980
The corporate purpose is extended to the manufacture and marketing of steel containers and drums, polypropylene bags, fabrics and meshes, films, bags and polyethylene buckets by means of the transformation of plastic resins. – Acquisition of a metallic packaging plant in Santiago, and a woven packaging and industrial bags plant in San Antonio.
1991
Incorporation of the subsidiary Industria Comercializadora de Sacos Limitada SAACO in the area of flexible packaging.
1992
Acquisition of the rights of the subsidiary Servicios y Transportes COISA S.A., to directly manage the freights of the products of Coresa S.A.
1996
Investments in San Antonio Plant, increasing its industrial buildings by 120% and its productive capacity by 30%.
1996
The operations of the subsidiary Coresa Perú S.A. for the commercialization of products exported from Chile, and Coresa Argentina S.A. with a plant in the town of San Antonio de Areco, for the manufacture and marketing of sacks and fabrics for the Argentine market and the Mercosur countries.
1998
Coresa S.A makes a new irrevocable contribution to the subsidiary Coresa Argentina S.A. for US $ 6,500,000.
2000
Investment in the production line of Ad-Star bags, exclusive in Latin America.
2002
New investments in the San Antonio plant allow to increase its productive capacity, exceeding 10,000,000 bags per month.
2005
The ISO 9001: 2000 certification was obtained for the Flexible, Maxisac and Polyethylene divisions.
2006
ISO 9001: 2000 was implemented in the Rigid division. The Company implemented ISO 14001: 2004 in the San Antonio plant, which includes the flexible divisions, Maxisacos, Polietilenos and related operations.
2010
The ISO 9001: 2008 Recertification was obtained and the recertification in ISO 14001-2004 standards for the Flexible, Maxisac and Polyethylene divisions.

Coresa S.A. Flexible packaging plant installed in Lima, Peru in the Lurin area.
